O, ya traie en su mano resta de piscados,	In one hand he brings a string of fish
y en la otra mano resta de ducados.	and in the other he brings a chain of coins.

Vino florido	He is flourishing,
con todos bien cumplido,	everything is perfect.
mos viva 'l parido.	Long live the new father.
Y a tambien la parida,	Congratulations to the mother
que mos pario este hijo.	who gave birth to this boy.

O, yo pari un hijo de cara de flores,	O, I gave birth to a boy, with a face like flowers.
y sempre demos loores y alabaciones.	We will always offer praises and gratitude to the Lord.

Vino florido .....	He is flourishing .....
